Marjatta Metsovaara designed Aalto (wave) in 1967. Sold over 2mio meters, it is one of the great icons of modern Nordic design and an enduring motif that will stand the test of time. Aalto was first produced for Metsovaara at Tampella, then by Vallila under license, and now in Finland on our legendary Lappi-satin. Redesigned by hand, this reactive print in original colors is the latest and the best version of this iconic print design.

The fabric is certified in accordance with STANDARD 100 by OEKOTEX® (SE 08-1621 Swerea IVF).
